The project room alte feuerwache is located on the ground floor of an 1884 fire station, which was reopened in 1998 after extensive renovations as a new municipal cultural centre. The former fire engine bays have been used for socio-cultural and artistic projects, including cultural education projects, primarily in cooperation with local artists, and public and independent organisations, since 2003.
