Recognising and Responding to Right-Wing Extremism
Clara Marie Bennewitz’s installation “Reine Wäsche” is comprised of a rotary washing line hung with everyday clothes and textiles bearing right-wing extremist symbols, codes, and slogans. The garments are on loan from the archive of the antifaschistisches pressearchiv und bildungszentrum berlin e. V. (apabiz).
A conversation between the artist and a researcher and author from apabiz focuses on how these often hidden codes and signals can be recognised and appropriate responses to them.
Talk with exhibition artist Clara Bennewitz and Dana (apabiz), moderated by Alice Hauck, exhibition co-curator.
Das Institut für Architekturbezogene Kunst stellt sich vor.
In conversation with exhibition curator Lars Holdgate, Folke Köbberling and Gergely László introduce TU Braunschweig’s Institut für Architekturbezogene Kunst (IAK) and their exhibition at Pforte, “Busch in Berlin”, focusing on three central thematic areas: inheritances, renewable resources, and cohabitation.
The event will be held in German.
