Artist duo Sarah Oh-Mock and Bongjun Oh have been frequent collaborators going back over ten years. Their beyond tongues exhibition presents their joint work as an expansive archive of objects, photographs, and videos, shaped by a variety of locations. In their work, they merge their diverse cultural backgrounds into a transcultural aesthetic that transcends national borders. For them language is not the dominant means of communication – they see art as a universal form of deeper understanding.
