Cemetery of the Nameless

Artist Pınar Öğrenci’s exhibition, Cemetery of the Nameless, weaves together ecological, historical, and social threads surrounding Lake Van in Turkey into a multifaceted portrait of the region. As a continuation of an ongoing project, Öğrenci returns to her hometown to explore stories of loss – of both water and people.
