What is dust? What does it look like? What is it made up of? What knowledge space opens up when we think about, observe, and encounter the phenomenon of dust? The artistic approach of Kerem Ozan Bayraktar and Sinem Dişli traces dust in different ways and reveals a world of externality and internality. From the macro perspective of huge, sand-carrying hurricanes to the question of what dust is actually made of, we want to talk about ecology, agriculture, borders, and “parts of our fan group” We hope to better understand the works on show and the social and political realities of our present. During this artist talk, the curator and the artists will ask and answer one another’s questions in an egalitarian dialogue.
