The 50th anniversary of Fennpfuhl, a large housing estate, was Christina Falk’s inspiration for a series of work. She uses architectural cut-outs, constructive compositions with rigorously developed two-dimensionality, serial details, and balanced colours. The balance of colours in relation to each other determines the respective atmosphere of the paintings. In conversation Falk will talk about her impressions and encounters, collected stories, and the colours of Berlin—past and present.
