As part of the exhibition project modular 1-2, a residency programme will also take place in the gallery space between 1 and 15 September 2022. Italian-born artist Gianluigi M. Masucci is invited to work in the gallery spaces and present his Naples-based programme and network La congiunzione degli opposti, a graphic and relational re-mapping work through which the many realities of the city that find no visible point of connection on current maps are made visible. It is an invitation to rediscover the importance of places and human relationships through which spaces, forms of sharing, collaboration and community can be founded or renewed. We want to learn from the artist’s experience and practice and explore the question of whether something similar is possible in the gallery environment. In common conversations, actions and tours, possibilities and approaches will be explored.
