Our scavenger hunt invites you to discover the place with open eyes. The journey begins outside, leads past the Bärenzwinger through the greenery of Köllnischer Park, and finally into the building. You’ll receive your own clue-hunting booklet, which, like a little treasure chest, is waiting for you to open and fill it!

A family workshop that invites participants to find stillness, turn their attention inward, and move into a space of feeling and creating. Parents and children will start out working separately.
Artist and somatic practitioner Stephanie Hanna will lead parents on an exploration of Körnerpark with questions like: How do I feel in this place? How do the garden and weather affect me? Body awareness exercises help participants to tune into their inner life more closely and notice their connection to the surroundings.
Meanwhile, art educator Miriam Jadischke will be helping the children create collages of body images exploring what is felt and experienced in the body. The two groups will then reunite to create an installation that brings the connection between inside and outside into view.

Screen-printing and leporello workshop within the framework of the exhibition Träumen: Annemirl Bauer und Bärbel Bohley

In the workshop series Public Print Movement goes Publik Machen, participants work alongside the artist and art educator Katharina Marszewski to create their own artist’s book for each of the five exhibitions in the ifa’s Publik Machenseries. Selected motifs are transferred onto paper using screen-printing techniques and then compiled into a leporello, incorporating questions, thoughts and personal impressions. This results in unique book objects that deepen the engagement with the artworks and the artists. The participants’ own creative work opens up new perspectives on the exhibitions and invites them to reflect further on their content. The screen-printing process itself becomes a starting point for artistic exploration and collective reflection: how can materiality, reproduction, chance and sensory experience be made tangible through the medium of screen printing? How does one’s perspective on a work of art change when it is printed, reproduced and transferred into a different medium? This series of workshops combines artistic practice and art education with a shared process of questioning, experimenting and reflecting. It allows participants to experience how art can be not only viewed, but also made visible, appropriated and retold through their own actions.

Scraps, tears, and gaps can be unsettling, but they often contain the seeds of something new. In the FRACTURE exhibition, featuring works by selected artists from the Haus am Kleistpark Art Prize 2026, we’ll explore the ways fragmentation, interruption, and displacement can give rise to new forms and image worlds. A colourful heap of unsorted, partly torn and crumpled paper awaits participants for hands-on creative work.

What can art be? Zigzagging through ZAK Zentrum für Aktuelle Kunst, we’ll explore the current exhibitions. On paper, on the wall, or in spaces: we’ll wind our way back and forth through the exhibitions, taking them in with our eyes and ears, and maybe taking something with us when we leave. Inspired by everything we’ve found and seen, we’ll get to work creating something of our own.

After checking out the MORE THAN BEAUTY exhibition for inspiration, we’ll create our own works in which everything revolves around body images. In the tradition of artist Hannah Höch, we’ll collage new beings out of body fragments cut from fashion, garden, and art magazines. These beings are limited only by your imagination and should not conform to any social conventions. Anything goes, everything encouraged: head-footers, hybrid creatures, thousand-mouthed beasts. Creations can be further decorated with paint and brush, true to the spirit of our motto: Body. Cult. Collage.

Become both a model and photographer in one. In this workshop at Galerie Pankow, you’ll dive into the world of legendary photographer Ute Mahler. We’ll raid the costume hoard: combine baroque dresses with sneakers, or 1920s hats with jeans. Discover the ways fashion tells a story, deck yourself out in epic looks against a raw backdrop. Whether you’re in primary school or upper secondary, learn to see lighting and pose like an expert. Bring your camera or smartphone (tablets can be borrowed) and create your own cover shoot!
