Itinerant interlude #696 with Kinga Ötvös (performance) and Ángeles Rojas (shruti box)

ITINERANT INTERLUDES presents performances in Berlin galleries. The repertoire draws on the artworks in the respective exhibition, whether from conceptual, historical or material perspectives. The aim of the series is to provide a point of intersection and thereby stimulate a lively dialogue between audiences of the visual and audio-acoustic arts. ITINERANT INTERLUDES 2026 is made possible by the
support of the initiative neue musik berlin. The project is curated by Laurie Schwartz.
Kinga Ötvös: Kinga Ötvös is a multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of music, theatre and performance art. Kinga was a member of the Hungarian State Theatre in Cluj-Napoca (Kolozsvár) and has collaborated with the Látókép Ensemble and the Horváth Csaba Company in Budapest. Kinga recently released the album Fluid Oratorio and participated in the Athens Biennale as a live sound designer. Kinga is a co-founder and artistic director of the ‘Interfonic’ Postnational Theatre.
Ángeles Rojas: Ángeles Rojas is an Argentine composer and performer based in Berlin. Her work explores hearing, resonance, intonation and the harmonic spectrum through sustained tones and durational forms. She works with instruments such as the shruti box, tambura and organ, as well as self-built instruments and ensembles; her practice encompasses composition, performance and installation.
