Recognising and Responding to Right-Wing Extremism

Talk
Clara Bennewitz, Dana, Alice Hauck

Clara Marie Bennewitz’s installation “Reine Wäsche” is comprised of a rotary washing line hung with everyday clothes and textiles bearing right-wing extremist symbols, codes, and slogans. The garments are on loan from the archive of the antifaschistisches pressearchiv und bildungszentrum berlin e. V. (apabiz).
A conversation between the artist and a researcher and author from apabiz focuses on how these often hidden codes and signals can be recognised and appropriate responses to them.

Talk with exhibition artist Clara Bennewitz and Dana (apabiz), moderated by Alice Hauck, exhibition co-curator.
