Data travels the world at the speed of light through fibre-optic cables, yet the digital world still remains bound to physical matter: to pipes and cables, to raw materials, energy, and labour. In an online exhibition, With the speed of light, artist collective eeefff follows the movements of the digital world’s material infrastructure. Their work moves between speculative storytelling and documentary observation, asking how digital infrastructures permeate our lives and bodies.
