Every now and again. While the literal meaning seems to make little sense, the contextual meaning, ‘from time to time’, is clear. Between the urgency of the now and a simultaneous awareness of cycle and repetition, the artistic works in the exhibition render the tension field of the phenomenon of time tangible in multifaceted ways. Circular movement meets discrete events. Time stands still. Or expands.

Critically, constructively, playfully, and profoundly, the artists observe and question both our time as well the time, and the times. The exhibition is part of the Kunstverein Tiergarten twentieth anniversary celebrations, to which the phenomena of time and temporality are central.
