Gleaning is much more than the once charitable practice of gathering residual food crops after harvest. It embodies a radical reassessment of what is deemed (supposedly) unusable. This recontextualization challenges norms, questions assumptions, and critically examines what we perceive as indispensable, testing their validity. The exhibition examines the digital realm from the perspective of the future. In doing so, it calls into question the singular narrative of our digital present and invites viewers to uncover and appreciate its multi-faceted origins.
