In an installation combining photography and sound, Alexander Rosenkranz and Florian Merdes explore Tempelhofer Feld as a unique urban space. Through the rhythmic arrangement of photographs and presentation of diverse media, the artists capture the distinctive character of the area. Broad, dynamic, tilting horizons and surfaces alternate with objects that suddenly appear close and present. The vast space of Tempelhofer Feld allows for an opening up of perspective and enables viewers to experience heightened self-awareness, a sense of being confronted with yourself.
