This exhibition showcases artists and works addressing the body and its relationship to the natural world, to gardens, plants, and ecological systems. What visions of the future do they have? What utopias do they imagine that challenge the status quo? Could a paradigm shift in our understanding of nature change our relationship with the natural world? Each artist explores the theme of difference as beauty in different ways. Some look at bodies that behave differently, other explore the contexts in which we live: nature and its cycles, the rhythms of reproduction as a force that resists capitalist structures that harm the huma body.
