The Haus am Kleistpark exhibition venue is one of the oldest municipal galleries in Berlin, and one of the largest with 240 m² of exhibition space. The gallery presents the work of contemporary artists based both in Berlin internationally. The Haus am Kleistpark Art Prize is awarded annually in support of professional artists.
A focus of the curatorial program is fine art photography, for which a scholarship with an open call for entries is offered annually. Art-historical exhibitions are accompanied by discourse on social transformation processes. Co-operations are an essential element of the gallery concept.
The gallery also offers an educational program for schools. Barbara Esch Marowski is the gallery director.
