Architectural and social boundaries between inside and outside, public and private are constantly emerging in urban space.
The most intimate location to be found in public space is taken up as the site-specific theme of the exhibition meet me being private in scenic, sculptural and graphic terms.
At the historical public toilet facilities of Kunstbrücke, three artistic approaches address vulnerability, protection, retreat and intimacy in a physical (urban) spatial context using a variety of materials, while also examining the socio-political dimensions of such places, their conventions and power relationships, providing intimate insights in an almost comic way.
